We would like to propose an uncommon musical ventures created around a group of musicians from a variety of musical backgrounds. Their chief is electronic musician, singer, actor and dancer, Artur Lasoń , who plays synthesizers, acoustic guitar and sings.

YANKO VALSKEY

This is a project of "live" music, named YANKO VALSKEY.

The atmosphere created by the ensemble is reminiscent of what Brian Eno was doing 25 years ago, which he called “ambient.” However, Yanko Valskey is not a copy of any form of minimalism, but rather strives to develop a completely different idea. In this regard, Yanko Valskey defines its own notion of what is ambient.

Yanko Valskey 's musicians present several musical styles, in such a way that the group may dip into jazz, rock, folk or even classical music. The musical collaboration finds its true “spontaneous” expression on a live stage.

The line-ups may vary according to musical requirements, with as sole permanent member the leader, electronic specialist, keyboard player, singer, actor and dancer - Artur Lason . He is also the group's main composer and mastermind, who intends to make the most of the ambient concept, with names matching the circumstance: the “strongest” is YANKO VALSKEY un'der AMBI(en)T UNIVERSAL MUSIC (briefly: Yanko Valskey & AUM ); the darkest is YANKO VALSKEY un'der AMBI(en)T GOTHIC ELECTRO ( Yanko Valskey & AGE ); the softest is YANKO VALSKEY un'der AMBI(en)T LIGHT FOLK ( Yanko Valskey & ALF ); the most “jazzy” is YANKO VALSKEY un'der JAZZ AMBI(en)T MUSIC ( Yanko Valskey & JAM ); the most classical is YANKO VALSKEY un'der AMBI(en)T CLASSIC ELECTRO ( Yanko Valskey & ACE ); the most vanguard is YANKO VALSKEY un'der AMBI(en)T INDUSTRIAL ROCK (briefly: Yanko Valskey & AIR ).

Artur calls on over a dozen sidemen, among them a core group comprised of: Adam Boratynski (viola, keyboards), Tomasz Bosak (didgeridoo, drums), Guy Ferraton (mouth harp), Wojciech Konikiewicz (piano), Bogdan Kowalczuk (guitar), Sebastian Lewicki (alt & tenor sax, clarinet, flute), Piotr Malak (saxophones), Jan Peczak (guitar), Jozef Skrzek (keyboards), Mercedes Starzynska (cornet, vocals), Andrzej Turczynowicz (guitar, ethnic instr.).

Yanko Valskey plays a different kind of live concert, in which the audience can experience a variety of sounds performed live and spontaneously.

These groups are comprised of artists who combine their different personalities and styles, with as common thread that all musicians perform in a totally improvised manner.

These projects are:

  1. Duets under the heading Double van-Guard . We highly recommend the duo of Artur Lasoń accompanied by the pianist and singer, Józef Skrzek .
  2. Trios under the heading Terzetto ex Centrique . We highly recommend the trio of: Mercedes Starzyńska , on cornet and vocals, or Guy Ferraton , on harmonica.
  3. The most intricate line-up are quartets and bigger groups named Chamber Orchestra Symbolique .

We are proud to offer these different ensembles, which cater to a variety of venues hosting live music concerts—theatres, clubs, culture centres, and so on. Fees and technical considerations regarding these groups can be discussed at a later date.
