How to subscribe RSS channels?

In Firefox (www.firefox.com), since the 1.5 version, the button is in the URL box. After clicking it, a list of channels is given for your selection. Selected channel appears among your favourites, distinguished by the same "radar" icon.

Refreshing the channel happens either when Firefox starts, or after rightclicking the channel in favorites and selecting the "Refresh RSS channel" option. In the same menu there is also a pretty explosive option "Open in panels", opening all the pages from this channel.

In Opera (www.opera.com), since the version 8.0, the button is in the URL box. Enough to click, to get all the channels selection. The selected channel appears in built-in Opera's emailer M2. The same action is needed, to get channel refreshed - if for some reason it does not happen automaticly.
